The TASEZ delegation visited the company headquarters and project exhibition center, focusing on understanding the photovoltaic + energy storage system integration solution, intelligent operation and maintenance platform, and domestic and international project cases. Dr. Bheka Zulu highly recognized Nuclear Energy's technological innovation and large-scale application capabilities in the field of green energy, calling it "an important partner for TASEZ Park to achieve its zero-carbon goals."

Both sides held pragmatic discussions on key issues such as the construction timeline of the first phase project, localization collaboration, and grid connection solutions. They also preliminarily planned a cooperative path for further developing the park's energy infrastructure, including charging stations and green electricity trading. Chairman Bing Weiwei emphasized, "The Nuclear Energy South Africa team will fully leverage its advantages across the entire industry chain to ensure the efficient implementation of the TASEZ project." The TASEZ delegation expressed its hope that the project would become a benchmark in South Africa's renewable energy sector, contributing to the coordinated development of the regional economy and environment. They also invited Chairman Bing to attend and speak at a major exhibition in South Africa in June.
This visit marks the beginning of a substantial advancement phase in the cooperation between the two sides. According to the agreement, the first phase, a 20MW photovoltaic + 20MW energy storage project, is expected to be completed in the first half of next year. Upon completion, it will provide an average of 30 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to a reduction of over 30,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions in China. Dr. Bheka Zulu stated, "This exchange gives us great confidence in the project's implementation. TASEZ will fully support the supporting work and jointly create a model for green industrial parks in Africa."
