Case Study: Linde Forklift Photovoltaic Solar Project
Linde (China) Forklift Co., Ltd., a German wholly-owned enterprise and a global technology leader in the forklift industry, has launched a high-quality photovoltaic project in Xiamen. Covering an area of 70,000 square meters, the project is built on a two-story factory building with a square pyramid bolted spherical node grid. It adopts a construction plan of reducing roof load and reinforcing rods, and is connected to the grid in the mode of "self-consumption first, surplus electricity fed into the grid", fully reflecting the application advantages of solar energy in industrial scenarios.
With an installed capacity of 4.9 MW, the project uses high-efficiency solar modules and solar panels to ensure stable energy output. Its annual power generation is approximately 5.2 million kWh, bringing remarkable environmental benefits. Annually, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by no less than 5,000 tons and save about 1,600 tons of standard coal, contributing significantly to low-carbon development and environmental protection, which is a key advantage of solar power generation.
In terms of economic and application advantages, the solar power system meets 40-50% of the factory's electricity demand. The sustainable clean energy greatly reduces the enterprise's electricity costs and improves economic benefits, perfectly demonstrating the economic and practical value of solar energy applications. This project sets a benchmark for the forklift industry to transform to green and low-carbon development.
