China's Enterprise Is Expected To Win 13 Photovoltaic Power Plants In Spain

   With the global development of clean energy strategies, clean energy assets such as hydropower stations and photovoltaic power stations have become "sweet and pastry". Recently, Chinese enterprises have received good news for the acquisition of photovoltaic power station projects.

   According to a report by Lianhe Zaobao on July 17, people familiar with the matter pointed out that China’s major clean energy operator, Three Gorges Group, is expected to acquire the Spanish solar operator X-Elio Energy SL’s 13 photovoltaic power plant assets, with an asset valuation of 500 million euros ( Approximately RMB 3.98 billion) to 600 million euros (approximately RMB 4.78 billion).


  X-Elio's official website shows that the company currently operates 41 solar power plants, with business in 12 countries and outstanding strength. The Three Gorges Group has emerged from many prospective acquirers and entered an advanced stage of discussions with X-Elio. The two companies are currently finalizing the final terms. The specific results will be announced in the next few days, but there still exist variable. It is reported that the US private equity fund KKR holds 50% of the Spanish company.
